Jersey is short more than 200,000 housing units, which drives up costs. I already announced his plan to lower property taxes by 15 percent and provide rental rebates, but there is still more to be done. I will make it easier to build more housing that’s affordable by taking a one-stop-shop approach and setting a shot clock on approvals and reviews. He’ll focus on building near mass transit hubs and repurpose abandoned office parks and government-owned land to expand supply.
