As we head into 2025, voters are starting to tune in to the upcoming gubernatorial election and we’ve hit the ground running. Our campaign has been crisscrossing the state, listening to voters on the ground as part of Josh’s “21-County Diner Tour.” 

The next few weeks are critical as people look to learn more about the candidates and their plans for New Jersey’s future, and we must ensure Josh’s vision and leadership are front and center. A strategic and layered combination of media platforms, beginning at the end of the month, will play a vital role in informing voters about our path to victory and why Josh is the candidate New Jersey needs. 

Josh’s Message is Right for Jersey

New Jersey’s toughest problem is it’s too expensive to live here. To address that problem, we need a Governor who is a problem solver – and that’s Josh Gottheimer. He has a specific tax cut plan that will cut property taxes for homeowners by nearly 15%, give tax rebates to renters, and provide tax cuts for seniors. Some people don’t think it’s possible to cut taxes and make life more affordable; they’ve given up. But Josh is a proven problem solver who has taken on what others think is impossible and gotten it done. In Congress, Gottheimer has been ranked the most effective bipartisan problem solver. Josh is the “Lower Taxes, Lower Costs” Governor. 

Our Path to Victory

To introduce Josh to Democratic primary voters, broadcast television in the NYC media market will be key. 

Our data shows that Democratic primary voters without a college degree, particularly white men and women aged 55 and older, and Hispanic voters and AAPI voters are especially open to Josh’s message. For these voters, NYC interconnect cable news can help introduce Josh. 

As people continue to turn more and more to digital communication, YouTube will be key to introducing Josh to Democratic voters 55 and older across New Jersey. 

Josh is the Best Messenger 

Voters will benefit from hearing how committed Josh is to cutting taxes and lowering costs. He often says in the diners where he campaigns that Jersey isn’t affordable and how important it is to change that. Some people don’t think it’s possible to cut taxes; they’ve given up. But Josh is a proven problem solver who has taken on what others think is impossible and gotten it done. And, for those who question whether it can be done, a link to the full plan (to be released soon) shows the specific details.
